New Display in Literature

April 2, 2009 by

Yesterday, we did what we should have done long ago to the Literature section. We’ve alphabetized the entries under individual authors and sources, so that you can make your way around better. The opening page still shows newest entries first. This new display is unearthing ancient material, and we’ve been busy fixing it up in light of our newest style standards. We are also rethinking why some things are in this section and other but still scholarly Mises Dailies are not. We’ll find a solution to that at some point.

In any case, as an example one of the those items I had forgotten about, look at this wonderful list of research topics and ideas from Mises himself. Bettina Greaves kept a list during his lectures. When he would suggest something, she would write it down on a note card. We transcribed these and posted them.

Jeffrey,

Thanks for the update on the literature section. I wondered about that.

Also, you snuck The Pure Theory of Capital into the store. That was the final Hayek work I wanted that hasn’t been generally available in print.

Thank you so much for this and the Prices and Production book (and having Collectivist Economic Planning in the lit. section)!

This is the best bookstore/site conceivable ever!
