Will Iranian culture be able to make the leap to an appreciation of classical liberalism? Other rigid cultural institutions will have to change, but it can’t hurt to hope for these things.

You do realize this is fake?

Are we certain that the translation is correct? Reading through the comments from youtube, many are calling shennenigans. This will only be used to discredit ABCT. Please take it down until its accuracy is verified.

Don’t believe it, seems like a spoof to me.

One hour ago commenter “Moushmoush” posted this under the youtube video:

“I speak fluent Farsi and there is not a single correct translation in this video. If you are on the Ron Paul / Peter Schiff side; you are hurting them for no good reason. If you are on the opposite side, your approcach is going to have a negative effect on your own side. Either way, you have some serious need for attention and are a poor loser. TAKE IT DOWN.”

You know, once you see it is a hoax, it actually is rather funny. I think I would take it down though.

If this is a fake (which it seems very likely to be) it is an embarrassment to the credibility of the LvMI. Please take it down.

It may be funny that they would create this fake, but this makes a lot of sense. It is a standard path of liberals (including liberals within libertarians) to support all kinds of freaks — as long as they are against the US.

Ahmedinejad is no Murray N. Rothbard, but his comments on monetary policy are substantially better than most Americans…

JJMercado January 18, 2009 at 5:38 pm

So, is the translation correct or not? I can´t believe it!!

mikey January 18, 2009 at 5:40 pm

Ahmedinejad is on record as saying there are no Austrians in Iran, this is a problem for the decadent West only.
