I think this is the same one that Robert Higgs penciled in the other day:

Via Clusterstock.

Okay, I filled out the form. But I don’t see the address to send it to. Could you please add that?

Michael December 3, 2008 at 12:02 pm

That’s precious. Right click, save as…

Bruce Koerber December 3, 2008 at 12:19 pm

I refuse to fill out the form for ethical reasons!!!!!!!!!!

What does that say about the ethics of the associates of the unConstitutional coup?

Christopher Lewis December 3, 2008 at 12:31 pm

Bruce, you do realize that it is a joke, right?

Dear Christopher,

What is ‘it’ that you are referring to?

The Keynesian economics of the ‘experts’ or the election process of the one-party system controlled by the unConstitutional coup or the ‘news’ filtered by the overseers or the ‘education’ system that serves very well to indoctrinate the masses or the funny money being used and abused as ‘legal tender’ or the ‘change’ that somehow gives us all of these familiar names and faces or are you referring to the satirical form to apply for millions (excuse me, billions!) to help someone down on their luck!

With warm greetings,
Bruce

Whew!! Nothing like a good laugh to disolve the angst in these insane times. Thanks for the posting Tim.

Joke it is, and quite funny…but funny because it is uncomfortably close to reality.

The Treasury Dept would probably have an acronym for the form, like BARF (Bailout Access Request Form).

Christopher Lewis December 3, 2008 at 5:17 pm

Bruce, I think it would be excellent if everyone filled out this form and sent it in. I am deeply saddened by everything that you stated as well, but could not help but to laugh at this mockery.

This is priceless, thanks for the laugh. I’m going to attach it to my final paper this term for a writing class, my paper is dealing with pervasive moral hazard and its role in the current mess. My writing professor will get a kick out of this I think.

Gave me a good laugh. Thought it was serious until I looked at the choices and the form number.

Hey, no need to insult a fine jazz musician like Herbie. He, at least, doesn’t need a bailout.

Poop Tart December 4, 2008 at 10:35 pm

I have to agree with Mr. Martin here. There is absolutely no need to tie down the fine jazz of Herbie to a satirical lampoon of crony socialism.
