Sadly forgotten by the mainstream, but an exceptional writer and thinker nevertheless. In particular, Nock’s “Jefferson” is by far the best biography of Jefferson that I have read – it’s interesting, factual, and a fast read. In part I enjoyed it because it presents Jefferson as I imagine him. Everyone should read more Nock!
