From the story, you have the feeling Hoppe new his class would pick the multiple choice option.
If a teacher in liberal economics manages to leave you with a new sense of free will, as his main achievement… that should mean something.
He enjoyed Hoppe and the way he made the students develop their own beliefs.
Students frequently know the path they want to follow, but are afraid to take the first step for fear of disappointing another. A good teacher invites challenges and lets their students know that it’s okay to think outside the box.
