anyone can tell me how to say “markets clear” in spanish or a suitable translation for “market clearing price”? My teachers all used “precio de equilibrio” but somehow it doesn’t seem a suitable translation, I get the feeling its an entirely different concept.

Dear Sir:
We have no need for an IRS and their monstrous eighty thousand page code. It is so confusing with all its loopholes that major large corporations seldom pay any fair share of income tax.
There were days when labor (we are all laborers regardless of position) needed representation and the government-corporate-lobbyist oligarchy worked around that! (The same was true of a minimum wage which has less and less been done any justice.) The government loses seventy million dollars or more through these loopholes.
There are other ways to meet fiscal needs. A sensible national retail sales tax would do fine provided that the 1913-enacted IRS, for which there is no provision in the constitution, is eliminated. This could simplify tax support matters for every citizen in every jurisdiction.
Unjustified profits and war are closely linked and defense industries profit very disproportionately. This higher profit continues for some period of peace following any expensive war. Then, it seems that profit-interests need another war. This has been going on, whether for monitary or other type of profit, for millenia. Sincerely, A.H. Goldkamp
