I enjoyed that, thanks.
I’ve long had a notion of writing a sequel to Scrooge which takes place one year later, revealing that it was a plot by all the other characters to part Scrooge from his money. Flashbacks to the waiter at the “melancholy tavern” lacing his “melancholy dinner” with a hallucinogens to a couple of the Cratchit brats stacked one on another in grim reaper garb, the current story picks up with an insolent lot living large on Scrooge’s money while he gets poorer and poorer. And if he shows any sign of reverting to his old self, the grim reaper costum will come out of closet on pulleys or Tiny Tim will suddenly limp around theatrically.
If anyone has seen such a treatment I’d be obliged.
On topic-the article is right on.
