I remember that conference as well (I was one of the organizers).  I gave a talk on libertarian history (one of the first times that I gave my &quot;The Late, Great, Left-Right Libertarian Flip-Flop&quot; talk--on the evolution of the libertarian movement from left wing to right) and met with many who would become life-long friends in libertarian circles.

It&#039;s funny.  The most memorable point for me was not meeting Carl Watner or several others who came, but introducing my  seven year old son (RIP) to Dr. Demento, a local radio show host.  They had such a great time together!

Moments such as these are what makes a libertarian conference great!

Just a thought.
