So it turns out that AEI’s award to Mario Vargas Llosa (who spoke about Mises and, on the same day, signed the petition on behalf of Hans Hoppe) was rather controversial among the AEI elite.

Just goes to show how meaningless and subjective awards are, and how they will always become politicized over time for the benefit of charlatans and narcissists.
