High Volume of Seasonal Mail Simply ‘Too Much’:
The United States Postal Service admitted it has been shredding millions of Christmas cards and letters to help cope with a glut of seasonal mail it simply can’t handle.
No it is not true, but I thought that after this Hoppe boondoggle it would be nice to laugh a little. Reminds me of that UPS joke:
Two friends meet shortly before Christmas. One works for UPS, the other for the Post Office.Post Office guy: “How are things at work?”
UPS guy: “Great! Things couldn’t be better! Business is way up! How about you?”
Post Office guy: “Terrible! Too many people!

Heh. Reminds me of the episode of Seinfeld where Jerry delivers the mail for Newman. Newman comes back to Jerry and tells him, “They knew it wasn’t me who delivered the mail. You managed to deliver 80% of the mail. No one has ever broken the 50% barrier.”
