I can’t seem to pull the Journals torrent. I get an HTTP 406 – Not Acceptable error.

(tried with Firefox, Chrome, IE, … even wget)

It does look like the PDF Journals have been left out of the 4.0 torrent. When I have more time I can compare torrent 4.0 with 3.0 (which I downloaded last fall) to see what other portions of content were not included.

So for anyone looking for content beyond the books & audio/video media, I would suggest downloading the 274GB 3.0 torrent.

The new organization of the 4.0 torrent though is still fantastic for browsing.

The media includes 114GB out of 274GB out of 8.6GB out of 9.8GB for books.

In order to provide the nicely organized torrents, I had to rely on the information in the Mises.org database. Unfortunately over the last 16 years, various files have become “orphaned” – they were uploaded but not added to the document database or not linked at all. Hopefully someone will eventually go through these files and figure out what to do with them.

Thank you for fixing the problem I reported earlier.

Now that I’ve returned home from work & have had a chance to start downloading the new .torrent’s, I saw how you’ve done such an amazing job organizing all of the content.

FYI the ‘torrent’ file format is trying to be ‘phased out’ by some due to the reoccurring Internet censorship threats. Magnet Links are a ‘safer’ and more decentralized way of doing things.
The .torrent file format can be blocked by some providers and Magnet Links keep working even if the tracker goes down.

I am curious to know if the “re-organization of the files” is what has disabled the RSS feeds for media such as the “Audio Mises Daily” which used to be:

“http://mises.org/Feeds/media.ashx?categoryid=108″

..but now the link shows (while also no longer working in my podcatcher program):

“http://mises.org/Feed/Media/?categoryid=108″

Any assistance/information on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
