Rothbard Bust!

September 28, 2011 by

Statue is 7″ high by 3.75″ wide and 27 oz.

We’ve long hoped for a Rothbard bust that didn’t freeze him in the past as most busts do. We hoped for one that captured his sense of life and joy, one that made him live in the moment where we are, just as his writings continue to live and speak to us now.

Finally it came along! This beautiful work was produced independently by Brad of Myherosthink.com. He came to our office to show it off. We worked for months on making the product affordable, and here it is at last.

We love how this art captures the love of life that Rothbard had, his upbeat personality, the delight he took in his research, writing, and activism.

This bust can remind you: never let the state defeat you. You defeat it by saying what is true, and by holding onto and loving the best opportunities that life brings you.

What material is it made from?

Same as all busts that are not unaffordable: resin.

My goal is to one day have busts of Aristotle, Mises and Rothbard in my personal library.

I like it, and will have it on my Christmas list this year; however, I also have the sudden urge for a line of Great Austrian Bobbleheads. Any plans for that?

Never has the austrian idea of embracing the bust seemed more compelling.
