It says “Lugwig Von Mises Institute” in the captions :(

Ludwig’s little known younger brother. He has an institute too, but its underground. You’ve probably never heard of it before.

Any Engineering student would have learned of Richard von Mises Long before he learned of Ludwig.

Brilliant! Short and concise.

Is Peter Schiff now promoting a federal sales tax as a replacement for the income tax? I don’t care for that. Let’s get rid of the income tax and replace it with nothing.

Understand that he’s in the political arena now. There’s no place for idealists there. Its all about working extremely hard to fight for what amounts to baby steps “in the right direction”. :(

Schiff has always been recommending sales tax rather than income tax. Never mind sales tax is income tax anyway, it’s just gimmicks. He’s a minarchist.

i think he sees it as a mean to encourage savings. When income is taxed, it is practically instantly spent by state. If it is taxed when spent, individual can choose to save or invest those money that would have been spent by state. it will be still spent by state, but before that it would work in private investments. Or under the pillow… who cares, saving is saving.
