Sometimes only comedy can adequately convey the true hilarity, or absurdity of a situation. The Daily Show with Jon Stewart exposed the United Food and Commercial Workers of Nevada for the joke they are.

Funny stuff.
That has to be one of the great videos in human history. Incredible.
Well said, Jeffrey. I practically filled my laugh quota for the week on this one.
Completely agreed with you, Jeffrey
Where are the “wildcats”. Where.
The Daily Show is usually pretty bad on unions, but they got it right here.
don’t people know better than to talk with Daily Show reporters?
You’d be surprised at the volume of people who are entirely unaware of The Daily Show’s existence. But then again, people are either stupid or believe the adage “no publicity is bad publicity”. This was apparent given that Penn and Teller managed some seven seasons of a show called Bullshit and got people to agree to be on the show.
Unbelievable and so predictable at the same time!
Reminds me of this story that occurred in France a while back: the drivers of a prominent union leader (Marc Blondel, Force Ouvrière) were denied the payment of their overtime and their vacations. They had to sue the union to get their due…

Oh, I lovelovelove this.
Anyone know how to watch if in Canada?
Jim, this is my biggest gripe about comedy central and comedy network. I can’t watch the clip unless I use a proxy, or I go through countless clips of the daily show, aimlessly on the comedy network’s website.
Most of the sites that block content based on location aren’t really trying to determine where you are so you can usually fool them by manually modifying your request headers. If you use Firefox, you can download an extension that simplifies the process.
Not sure what the deal is, but here’s the link from The Daily Show’s site

Same problem at that site Andrew.
PIty us poor Canadians…
Here in Knoxville, TN, several local businesses committed the unforgivable sin of hiring a construction company that doesn’t use union labor. The union hires non-union, minimun-wage, no-benefits picketers to sit out in front of the businesses that hired the construction company with huge “Shame on Whoever (Labor Dispute)” signs. One of the places is a restaurant, and its servers have taken a similar sign out on their breaks that says “We Love Working at Calhoun’s.”
These things are so preposterous I am increasingly dumbfounded at how people can claim to support them with a straight face. It is usually quite difficult to get someone to admit to supporting any individual policies of the government as-applied. Rather, they claim the motivation is correct, or the “basic idea” is strong, or that the implementation simply needs tweaking. Why is it so difficult to admit out loud that the emperor has no clothes?
So this type of stuff actually goes on? XDDDD can someone please provide me a link?
I noticed that the typically liberal studio audience The Daily Show usually has wasn’t laughing as raucously as they usually do.
Can’t imagine why…
Unioners are too lazy to protest so they hire scabs, you can’t make this stuff up
