In honor of Syfy’s Indiana Jones marathon, a favorite scene from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Take that, German Historical School!

In a somewhat similar vein, Christopher Hitchens once said that the two greatest achievements of the Austrians were to convince the world that Beethoven was from Vienna and that Hitler was from Germany.
Now I wish there was a like button.
Are you sure that it came from Hitchens? A quick search on the internet, I saw similar statements no attribution to Hitchens. It is good point Daniel, I don’t know if it is really an achievement or just stroke of luck.
I have seen a video clip where Hitchens said it, I no longer recall which one.
Ya – I definitely heard Hitchens say it. It’s entirely possible it wasn’t original to him, though.
We clearly need more Austrian humor.
No better way to start than with Indiana Jones!
