July 6, 2011 by

From the Economist. A generation is being shut out of the division of labor, thanks to intervention in labor markets.

And just wait until Obama Care mandates that millions of low wage earners suddenly have to purchase government price regulated insurance policies. I am sure those evil employers at landscaping and fast food service jobs can easily pay for the extra healthcare costs.

Why don’t youngsters create their own employment ?

There is a young entrepreneur, aged only 11, which already owns his own milk bar in a shopping center, he started by selling cotton candy and other sweets. His name is Sam.

Sam’s Treats is the name of his company and it works. He makes a lot of money.

Well, there’s a three letter word that cures youth unemployment.

Coming soon?

How can we not? In addition to employing young people also solves the dreaded scarcity problem by reducing people who demand things.

Followed by an explosion in demand later. Why, it’s a win-win (so to speak).

Hey, if Prof. Krugman likes it…

Actually, Krugman has to take a back seat to another clown, Paul Abrams.

Bob Higgs calls him out here:

Being a twenty something, I always remark that these statistics strongly correlate with the party culture.

There is a reason that Barcelona has the hottest girls dancing at the hottest clubs into the early morning: they don’t have jobs.

Ohhh Henry July 6, 2011 at 3:31 pm

Err, who else were you thinking that they would draft into the next world war?

There are two pathways for the youth: 1) servitude to the State which means as a pawn in its warfare, and 2). revolution against the State.

How can the youth avoid servitude? By releasing the idealism of youth and the natural tendency of rebelliousness, but now focused against the hypocrisy of propagandized ‘education.’
