Sound off in the new Mises Community. I’ve offered my own casting of Mises, Hayek, Rothbard, and (as an antagonist) Keynes. Please create a free account at the new Mises Community to offer your own casting ideas.

So long as it isn’t something trite and stupid like trying to demonize Keynes. He was nothing but a British intellectual and academic who strode on the paths of political opportunism like many of his kind tend to do, not the fricking Lex Luthor.
It should be noted that the term Keynesianism is somewhat misleading. Keynes didn’t introduce anything new, such kinds of policies were practiced for centuries under various guises of mercantilism. Blame the ideas, not the man.
Krugman on the other hand, I can hardly bring myself to defend.
Ha! Ben Kingsley as Mises. Only if played as if it were Sexy Beast.
Mises : Peter Ustinov – Walther Matthau – Leonardo Di Caprio
Keynes: vin diesel or steven Seagal, eventually Jon Malkovitch. Matt Dillon. Nick Cage.
Rothbard: Bogard – Bill Murray – George Clooney
Ayn Rand: Jodie Foster
Hayek: Groucho Marx – Walther Matthau – Clint Easwood.
Jesse White as Mises
Verne Troyer as Keynes
Courtney Love as Ayn Rand
Yakov Smirnov as Hayek
Pee Wee Herman as Krugman
Linda Evans as the hooker with the heart of gold
I know this isn’t being asked, but Walter Block ….. Woody Allen
Good call. I hadn’t thought about it but they sound eerily similar
Jeffrey Tucker, Doug French, Lew Rockwell, David Catalan and Stephen Kinsella in The Invasion Of Dirty Zombies VS TSP Heroes.
Gene Hackman as Murray Rothbard
I think Murray would have picked Marty Feldmann
Gene Hackman as Murray Rothbard, but Jay Leno would have to do the voiceover.
