This is my favorite Bastiat essay. For those who do not understand money, there’s no better explanation! Reading and thinking about this piece opened my eyes up to a whole new way of thinking.
We had fun with this subject back in March.

Real wealth is in tangible goods… not the “promise” of monetary value which is exactly what money is.
