Americans love winning! War, professional sports, same old, same old. The tune will change when the Mexican drug lords get et alia get some missiles.

Most Americans now partake of some benefits derived from plundered taxes. By engaging in such forcible, violent actions, albeit through their proxies (IRS agents) rather than directly, their morals are nevertheless corrupted, perhaps beyond salvation by anything but massive Divine intervention, which seems unlikely. This use of force to obtain a crust of one’s daily bread is no different than any other resort to violence. It is axiomatic: force begets force; violence begets more violence. A nation that lives on taxes will perforce be a warrior nation. Tax violence begets war violence. A tax ostensibly levied to fund Pell grants or NIH cancer research is essentially acquiescence in war, Corn begets corn; oats beget oats; violence begets violence; taxes beget wars.

The wars will only end if the public begins to suffer greatly. Right now, the costs are actually being born by the Chinese – since the US is broke. Their government doesn’t much care, so long as it keeps the US fighting with others and not with them. While we waste our resources, the Chinese are preparing for the future.

I believe this is why they continue to lend us money they know we will never repay. It’s still lots cheaper than having an all out war with us. And the only cost is the serfs in China who keep working to feed and clothe the US.

I think that China has a tiger by the tail. They’re afraid to let go. They’re letting out the leash slowly. But one day when it happens, they better watch out. A jealous tiger with nobody left to fight will be very dangerous to them.
