I like Tim was looking forward to some more food for thought as I started this daily Mises installment but as I continued along discovered that David Gordon was looking for potential students for an upcoming series of lectures. This is all fine and good but as I am now reading "Atlas Shrugged", I was hoping to compare notes with an "expert" on the matter of Ayn Rand as the movie, which I recently attended, piqued my curiosity enough to read the book as well. I guess some would comment, "better luck next time" Dave. I will keep reading the daily Mises installments. Dave S.

The dates advertised for the course are wrong! I believe there is a typo. Rather than June 16 to July 27, I presume it should read June 16 to July 21. The latter would encompass 6 Thursdays, and besides, July 27th is a Wednesday and the course is scheduled for Thursdays.

Tim, get over it. Mises daily fare is not designed to suit your tastes exclusively. I saw this article and signed up for the course, and might have missed it otherwise. And btw, if you really want thought provocation, sign up for one of David's courses. Having taken his Introduction to Logic course, I can say with considerable confidence that any course he teaches will do just that for most if not all of his students.

This is not typical Mises Daily fare; this is an advertisement, a call for enrollment. I read the Mises Daily for information and thought provocation -- and this provokes me in an unexpected and unwelcome way.
