It’s a human-built world

Beautiful things built by human hands.

Not so much human-built, actually. Consider, for instance, the non-human-built continental plates, on top of which we build, area wise, insignificant cities with little skyscrapers, of which the Everest is still the tallest. But the video is good.

Nah

You may be of another opinion, A, and that’s fine but “Nah” isn’t particularly argumentative.

I seem to be in the minority, in the small percentage of people who are far more enthused by man’s creation than the wonders of nature. I prefer the beauty of machines, buildings, tools, and technology to that of mountains, oceans, or forests. Or at least, I am one of the few people who will readily admit that this is my bent, for it is considered unseemly by so many to express such a view. In an age where we are supposed to worship nature and its own order, I prefer instead to admire the way in which we use or alter that order for our benefit.

I enjoyed this video immensely. Some of the photography is simply stunning, as are the subjects.

I agree, the photography is stunning and the subjects are. That does not make it a human-built world, though. Consider this [1]. I’m guessing you argue the photography is at least equally stunning but the subjects are less so. Why?
