Jeffrey, have you come across this:

Each member of the [American Banker Association] panel was familiar with the 9/11 hijackers financial transactions and each has come to the conclusion that a better scrutiny of the financial transactions would not have resulted in discovering them. Moreover, even after 9/11, with all we know now, the panel was unanimous in stating that similar financial activity would not draw suspicion.

[In American Banker Association roundtable; March, 04.]

The talk is with some commission involving John Roth, Doug Greenberg and Serena Wille. The report linked is quite damning to the “knee-jerk regulations” passed after 9/11.

You should have a section for submissions to Mises.org.

“knee-jerk” regulations …. (Typo in my previous post.)

Back in my day we didnt have a fancy mechanical gizmo to wash our clothes for us: We had to use a washing machine.

The risk, the high probability of climate change is real????? WTF!

And to see our communist president Dilma Roussef praised as a great woman and benefactor of people was disgunsting!

Technically, this statement is correct.
There is a high probability that a (or ‘the’) climate can and will change. One might even go so far as to say that this is a certainty.

It’s certain that the climate will change. It is a dynamic chaotic system. Even if it were to find an attractor, the Earth is cooling down. It used to be a ball of molten lava, millions of years ago. Aren’t you glad for climate change?

Once again TEDtards state the obvious and pretend to be brilliant.
