Robert Murphy Lecture on Austrian Economics Tonight at 6pm EDT in Webex

April 27, 2011 by

Robert Murphy will be delivering the first lecture of his online Rothbardian economics course Praxeology Through Price Theory tonight at 6pm EDT using the Webex platform.

The Mises Academy started transitioning to Webex, the web conferencing industry standard, from our previous service earlier in the spring. We’ve now delivered three courses using Webex, and it has been great. While our previous service had frequent brief audio/video freeze-ups, Webex has been rock solid. Webex has never had a single audio/video freeze-up in any of the sixteen ninety-minute lecture sessions we’ve delivered with it.

Now the Mises Academy experience is even better, and the world class Mises Academy faculty have an even more powerful teaching tool at their disposal.

There’s still time to sign up before Dr. Murphy’s lecture tonight, so I hope you’ll join us!

I know that no one here knows me and has no reason to follow my recommendation, but never the less I will make my recommendation, which is: if you want to understand the fundamentals of human action, value theory, exchange (direct, indirect) and the pricing process, then, MES and Mr. Murphy is the best choice you could possibly make. And if this is not convincing enough – don’t forget that Mises was the biggest influence on Murray, hence, his theory is based on the theoretical treasuries created by his mentor.
