I Hate the Taxman

The above link is for those who are still working on your taxes. It is my rewrite of the Beatles song “Taxman.” You first get the original lyrics and this is followed by my version where I revised the lyrics so that the “voice” of the song changes from that of an obnoxious tax collector on a power trip to that of a Rothbardian tax protester:

If you have to pay taxes, then you are not free.
But anyways, even if we would keep our full paychecks, own our own houses and live in a perfectly libertarian world, we would still not be free.

Why ?

Because there would always be nature to tax our free will.

I didn’t have room to add anything on the memo line of the check I sent, so I wrote “END THE FED” on the envelope I sent to the treasury today.

If I had thought of it earlier, I would have ordered custom stamps with the book cover on them.
