Jimmy Buffett and his Margaritaville Enterprises are moving in on Charlie Sheen’s territory as they filed a couple of applications with the US Patent Office earlier this month to trademark the term “Tiger Blood” for use selling their vodka (application serial #85265306) and energy drink products (#85265307).
However, it isn’t just Buffett that seeks to gain the favor and use the monopoly services of the state in order to move in on the popularity of Charlie Sheen’s manic episodes. The Patent office has been drenched in Tiger Blood as of late with attempts to corner the market on such products as Tiger Blood dietary supplemental drinks, vitamin and mineral beverages, highly caffeinated energy pills, jackets, overcoats, sweaters, t-shirts, shirts, pants, caps, scarfs, belts, shoes, non-alcoholic drinks, energy shots, sports drinks, and Tiger Blood TV.
