Federal employees interact primarily with others like them, or at best, contractors (who are also paid by tax dollars), and seek to share a sense of higher mission.  The insularity of THIS particular space, that of antitrust/antiantitrust, has been illustrated by Oliva in columns pointing out the professional transitions that only serve to magnify this intellectual problem with each passing year.  Blatant absurdities and over-reaching are so painfully obvious to outside observers like Oliva and his readers.  The column above illustrates multiple instances of FTC&#039;s failure to anticipate the results of its orders and edicts.]]></description>
