I was speaking to a colleague living off the coast of the Persian Gulf and he happened to have missed the Austrian Scholars Conference and I mentioned a few lectures he might find fruitful and thus needed to watch nonetheless.
I told him that he should definitely not miss David Stockman’s brilliant insider lecture on The Forgotten Cause of Sound Money.
I then went on to mention Mustafa Akyol’s great presentation on The Commercial Heritage and Contribution of Islam Toward Liberty.
I finally concluded and stated he must see Helio Beltrao of the Mises Brasil’s lecture on Austro-Libertarianism as a Starfish.
However, we have much to do in this peaceful and prosperous evolution since as soon as he clicked on one it returned:
SITE BLOCKED!!!!
“This web site has been blocked for violating regulations and laws of Kingdom of Bahrain.”
Just for good measure I had him try How To Improve Society, and sure enough Jeff Tucker is banned in Bahrain as well!
You might want to quickly acquire these lectures while they are HOT since you never know when the powers that be may prevent you from enjoying them as they ban them from wherever you are too.

For advocating that you should have a choice of having Bourbon for Breakfast in a society that bans alcohol?
My guess is that it is the top level domain (ustream.tv) that is blocked, not specifically LVMI lectures.
