We are working on posting these on the Mises Wiki perhaps within the next week. But for now, you might enjoying looking through these new papers of Mises and (mostly) of Margit von Mises, including rare first drafts of some books, some documents and letters to and from, hand corrected manuscripts, and even some letters of Mises to Margit from the Vienna years. It is an extraordinary collection, completely disorganized for now, and so it will remain until we can use the Wiki to organize it all. But, in any case, here you go!

Page 45 in Miscellaneous is very touching!
Very cool.
One thing that all students can learn from Mises — and not something usually thought of — is the quality of his “penmanship.”
Anyone who has had the opportunity of going through Mises’ manuscripts, letters, and papers in their handwritten form has to be impressed by the clarity and aesthetic quality of Mises’ neat handwriting.
If only my students came even half near this aspect of Mises’ “accomplishments,” it would make reading their exam papers so much easier and enjoyable!
So, I call upon all students become better Misesians — improve your handwriting!!

My 7 year old is learning gorgeous cursive at his Montessori school. Some friends with kids at conventional schools tell me cursive is being phased at at some of these schools. No!
