Tom Woods amazes me with his performances on the interview circuit. His ability to cut to the heart of a question and then back up his position with illustrations and supporting arguments, all with lightning speed and artful language, is truly a gift. It also evinces the fullness of his understanding of the matters at hand.
These gifts also make him an outstanding teacher. His ability to marshall and communicate information is just as keen over the course of multi-week class as it is in an interview, and of course in the former it is applied to a much greater extent, to the delight of his students.
You can be one of those students for a remarkably low price (especially given how much this wonderful scholar is in demand, both in the interview and speaking circuits) in either (or both!) of these Mises Academy online courses.
- American Origins: From the Colonies to the Constitution (starts this upcoming Monday, March 7)
- The New Deal: History, Economics, and Law (starts the following Monday, March 14)
Also read his Mises Daily article on these two courses, The Lessons of History.
Amazingly only 30 people have signed up so far for American Origins and only 13 for New Deal, so there’s plenty of room; please join in!
(Please note, you don’t need to pay via Paypal anymore; our regular credit card function is working properly now).

What a great description: “His ability to cut to the heart of a question and then back up his position with illustrations and supporting arguments, all with lightning speed and artful language, is truly a gift.”
