It’s true, and very sad. Some of our very best and brightest are sucked into the public service vortex. Being young and naive they believe the lie. Some emerge later after waking up and realizing the error of their ways. Some never do and get caught up in the elitist fallacies of the great State, either never realizing how much they are hurting people or not caring. Or worse yet, enjoying their little fiefdoms and Lording it over people. Seems most simply sink into the murk of public service and live out their lives in boredom and mediocrity and never producing a thing of real worth.
Such a waste. How wonderful our world could be if all our talents were directed towards production instead.
