This inquiry into the San Francisco Happy Meal Ban, from Daily Show reporter Aasif Mandvi, is brilliant:

I like it when Asif says at 1:42 – “So you have literally created a Nanny state. To get your toy, you need to eat your fruits and vegetables” and that is not even the punch line.

Best was toward the end when Asif says why not make “netflix” mail out “supersize me”, and the guy responses with ‘we can’t make companies do that’…

this is like every discussion between a libertarian and a non-libertarian who just doesn’t get it.

I’m sure that he thinks smoking bans on bars and restaurants also doesn’t constitute regulating private business affairs.

Awesome video! Anyone that can show .gov how stupid they are and make them speechless deserves a medal in my book. A speechless politician — priceless!!!

Lol. That was the best.

Well we… we’re looking at… food from an… food environment issues from an equit… equitability… :-(

San Francisco Is Anti-Children In Many Ways!

If the reason for buying the happy meal is the toy inside then children will not want to eat at McDonalds in San Fransico. If they do choose to eat at McDonalds then the statists will do what next – ban anyone under 18 from McDonalds? The statist absurdities are evident and endless.

Fantastic! If only all the dictatorial scum could get a big dose of that.

This guy truly is brilliant!

I don’t understand why they didn’t ban the food altogether given their rationale. But then, the entire thought process is totally incomprehensible to me.

You know, I am really sick of people who will condemn anything that comes from the government – even when government says “Our kids should eat more veggies and less heart-disease foods.” If the government said you should poop from your colon, anti-government people will start pooping from their mouth. Oh, isn’t it what they already do? It’s disgusting that some of you actually have or take care of children.

Also, the “speechless” part and the part where the host says “you are really good-looking” are video montage! It was NOT what the host said.
