What do people make of the recent British findings about brain shapes and beliefs? Maybe libertarians are born, and can’t be made? What then?
Libertarians can come from many different perspectives – left libertarians, right libertarians, etc. It’s all simply about integrating one’s beliefs with what works in the political arena.
Eleutherist-
There are many problems with that british study. One is that its impossiblento tell whether beliefs cause the brain to be structured in different ways, there is a high amount of neuroplasticity in the brain, or if the structures cause the beliefs.
David Gordon’s “How to Think” course sounds absolutely fascinating. I bet it will be fantastic. (Its title calls to mind Barbara Branden’s old “Principles of Efficient Thinking” Objectivist course but don’t think there will be much similarity…)
