What’s the point?

Progress. You don’t have to agree with everything a guy stands for to realize that it is in your advantage to vote for somebody whose goals are much closer to your’s then any alternatives.

Freedom has always been a long slow grind. Unless your aiming for armed revolution then its in your interest to participate in politics even if its only from the fringe.

What would Ron Paul do if elected as President? How would him becoming President bring us closer to “Freedom?” All that is necessary to realize that voting a new person into office doesn’t do any good is to simply look around at all of the different countries in the world and also look at history. Has voting someone knew into office ever really set people free? I don’t think so.

My first observation would be if Ron Paul were elected President the mindset of the voters had to rotate 180 degrees. It means that the citizens were becoming more informed and understand that big government is immoral and that the class warfare and redistribution of wealth is not moral and that free markets and individual property rights are moral and will bring the greatest happiness to more people. If they voted for Ron Paul one can only surmise that they would vote in the same vein for their senators and representatives. We are a long way from that scenario but one can only continue the good fight to reach that day.
