I challenge you to enter into the great struggle of history, and make sure that your days on this earth count for something truly important. It is this struggle that defines our contribution to this world. Freedom is the greatest gift that you can give yourself and all of humanity. ~ Lew Rockwell
A dedicated student of the Austrian School, Vijay Boyapati, heard the words of Lew Rockwell and took action.
Vijay has committed to run a grueling 26 miles in the name of liberty and the Mises Institute. Though such a run is a feat unto itself, his commitment to this noble cause did not end with the countless hours of intense training. Vijay has pledged to match, dollar-for-dollar, every donation (up to $13,110) to the Mises Institute in support of his run.
Here is a man who chose to spend countless hours, over the past several months, training for this incredibly difficult undertaking. Vijay Boyapati chose to sacrifice countless daily pleasures as well as time with his family and friends in order to train. He is willing to forgo even more of life’s pleasures by donating up to $13,110 to the Mises Institute. He only asks that those who love liberty make a small sacrifice too.
By pledging to donate, supporters not only give Vijay the encouragement and support he needs to successfully complete the arduous run but also bolster the fight for liberty.
In the words of Elias Magoon, “Existence was given us for action, rather than indolent and aimless contemplation; our worth is determined by the good deeds we do, rather than by the fine emotions we feel.”
