Now that’s some good marketing, maybe libertarianism isn’t doomed after all.
What the connection between the band and Mises (other than the hat)?
Are they only a cover band, or do they have their own material? – seems like a cover band on their website (not that that’s bad, just curious).
I didn’t even notice the hat until reading your comment.
haha
Fly-by Radio is an awesome cover band. We invited them to play at our Halloween party last year at UAB. They did a really great show and I’m even more thrilled that they love Mises.org!
I was crossing my fingers, they were going to have some catchy, economic/political message filled lyrics…no cigar.
Every now and again, I jot down rhymes that pop into my head…sooner or later, I’m going to start a band…”The Austrians”…”von Mises”…”VMI”…..are any of those taken? It’s going to be HUGE. haha.
How about The Roth-Bards? …or New Walters on the Block?
…or just Böhm-Bawerk which is already an inherently awesome name.
This is how we will win the hearts and minds of the masses.
Thats Pacey from Fly By Radio. She and the guitarist are both Austrians. They played in Auburn this Friday. She wore that hat on stage for a while!
I’m in love.
breathtaking cap.
How much did you have to pay her to wear that?
Good to see the word being spread, but this band will never be as good as GWAR!
And Silas, how much do *you* have to be paid to go away?
GWAR!
Yawn, cover bands. Fly-by nothing, gimme Drive By Truckers any day.
“Which one’s the birthday boy, she said
I ain’t got all night
What’d your momma name you?
You can call me what you like”
Gwar SUCKS, and so do the Drive by Trucker rednecks!!!
Almost immediately, the spectacle of men hurtling GHD Hair Straighteners at 揵reak-neck? speeds around the wooden circular track became a passionately attended spectator sport and new tracks sprung up, literally over night, across the land. By 1910, the length of the wooden 揹romes? had grown from a third of a mile to as much as a mile in circumference, while the banking had increased from a modest 25 degrees in the corners until 60 degrees became the norm.
Spectators looked down on the track from grandstands constructed above the boards, as the riders lapped the track at speeds approaching 100 m.p.h. Rivalry was fierce, for the race was not only between theI was ecstatic, and the rest of the team congratulated each other for a job well done. We’d done it. After months of hard work and dedication, the time that we put into making this one go fast paid off. We’ll definitely be heading back that way next time around, in October. You never know…we might be able to get a few more miles per hour GHD IV Purple Styler out of the old Harley 45″
We’ll have videog opened in 1909 in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Coliseum motor dome was a little less than a third of a mile in circumference; nevertheless, the new track was nearly twice as long as the bicycle velodromes which had preceded it.
daring riders, but also between the manufacturers for the increased Cheap GHD Hair Straighteners sales that were a direct result of victory for their brand. By author Daniel Statnekov.
Are they separating ways? I will be missing them and that’s for real. I love the lead vocalist of this band.
