Liberation from the Parasite State

October 7, 2010 by

Where the monarchs by divine right claimed to control and direct all of the life of society, liberalism replied that, by and large, it is best to leave civil society to run itself — in religion, in thought and culture, and not least in economic life. FULL ARTICLE by Ralph Raico

Just the way nobody today argues against separation of religion and state, similiarly the world needs to arrive at the stage where nobody argues against separation of economy and state.

Great article. While Communists have always come to power screaming slogans about freedom and talking about the state withering away, they have practiced exactly the opposite, taking away every semblance of freedom and growing the state to unprecedented dimensions. If there is one characteristic Communists excel at it is duplicity.

Looking at the scene today in America, I think a majority ,but not all,of the American adult population deserves to get what has come down in the last few years. That is the destruction of the American middle class and their prosperity. For over 50 years,I have been actively warning people that to trade their self-responsibility,their self reliance and their liberty for security would lead to disaster. In the end, most Americans will be nothing more than debt slaves, non self-reliant and completely and totally owned and subservient to the top 5% of the political class . All these people will have left is their Social Security and medicare cards and nothing else. They have traded their liberty for security and in the end will have neither.
