When I first saw the title, I scanned it as “The Common Threat To Progress”, and thought that the picture of Obama and the UN logo was perfect.
I wouldn’t spend too much time analyzing anything that Obama says in any prepared speech. They’re nothing but deeply-intoned, self-contradictory platitudes. His stock speech is, “I don’t think the government is the answer to everything,” followed by a long shopping list of new and increased government interventions. Repeat until bankrupt.
Hmm… does anyone knows a government that really “serves its people and is free from corruption”? I know this should be any democratic chosen government but I just cannot think of any good example. A democratic governement might serve its people and be free from corruption but only to some extent.
