Labor as management

September 1, 2010 by

A funny thing happened on the way to a workers’ paradise: some workers became management. And you can guess what followed … a strike, of course.

OEA Strike from The Buckeye Institute on Vimeo.

For whatever reason, I just love it when unions strike unions. The irony is just oh so sweet.

Note: OEA is the Ohio Education Association — Ohio’s largest statewide teachers union.

There are precious few silver linings in an economic depression. Unions striking against union management is definitely one of them. Parasites sucking off parasites, demanding free stuff stolen from productive people that can no longer afford this nonsense.

The laws of economics can be deferred and even ignored, but they will have their day. That day has come. It’s been far too long in coming.

Aren’t union members expected to support union strikes? If so then the teachers should not be doing business with the union, such as paying their dues, etc.

Also, if the strike continues will the union hire non-union sign carriers?

Haha, I’ve always loved that, too.

A tangled web with more than one spider claiming occupancy! If the spiders kill each other off how long will it take for the sticky web to deteriorate and blow away in the wind?
