Great article! I love Doherty’s book on the libertarian movement.
I like the description of Rothbard as “unfoolable”. So true. He could smell a rat a mile away.
You’re referring to the same Rothbard? The anarchist? Sure, he made a lot of good points, so did Ayn Rand. Still doesn’t make them correct. A little too much personality cult for my taste, thank you so much. Unfoolable? Perhaps not, one can most ably fool one’s self.
Just because all of one’s ideas may not happen in this lifetime does not make them incorrect… Also, they are not incorrect because you give yourself the authority to say so…
