WOW! Fantastic! I was just thinking how to get all the free resources on Mises.org the best way on my iPhone Stanza app when I stumbled upon this blog link from the epub list page. I immediately downloaded about a dozen books – now I just have to find the time to read them!You guys are amazing and really keeping step with cutting-edge technology. Keep up the good work! I discovered the Mises Institute four years ago and I can truly say it changed my life. With the expanding amazing new resources like the Academy, Community and Wiki you are really the beacons of truth and liberty.

When trying to view anything under the “journals” section, I get a list of articles. In fact, no matter which item I try to view under “journals,” I get the same list of articles, not the journal I’m looking for. This happens in Aldiko on both my android phone and my android tablet.

I am reading these books on my Kindle. I just download the ePub versions and use Calibre to convert them to .mobi and put them on my Kindle. Works like a charm!

Once again, I find truly remarkable the amount of resources the Ludwig Von Mises Institute is able to provide! And now, in such a manner, that I am able to access this vast array of knowledge with my phone! The work and effort of all those involved make the institute stand as a beacon, providing a direction for those who seek the truth and are willing to undertake the arduous journey to obtain it. Just is, that, as the scope of this knowledge touches all aspects of life, it should be accessible to every man. And what a beautiful example of the good provided by these methods of communication! It seems not only
striking, but pertinent that the Mises Institue be at the forefront of such communications. The knowledge of certain things is able to be lost,
but if we are to maintain our culture and civilization, preventing chaos and collapse, then we must keep in mind the very things at their base promoting their very existence. Without expounding on details, I will conclude my remarks by expressing that education, especially that provided by the Ludwig Von Mises Institute, is a necessary factor of this maintainence for which no small level of relevance can be assigned. Let these teachings blossom and be be received by all, so that harmony will trump discord in the world of man! For this I am grateful.

According to the internet, Stanza can export to MobiPocket format, which is readable by Kindle. If you have problems with Stanza, you can try Calibre instead. I haven’t actually tried reading it on Kindle but it should work.

Hey all. I downloaded this app and I too am in Austrian Heaven as it were. One question though. Does anybody know a way to get this library on my Kindle?? I don’t mind reading on the I phone, but it does get a little annoying after an hour or 2. If there was anyway to get this stuff on my kindle in this kind of format and not PDF it would be a great help.

I just found out that Aldiko does not support PDF. I have updated the catalog to correctly specify the mime type, so the reader can decide whether to support it.

That’s great! Now I have on my iphone more books than I have on my bookshelf.
But the pdf files are just impossible to read on stanza.
Or is there anything that can be done to transform the experience of reading a pdf file on stanza something near to the experience of reading an .epub file?

The uPub books work fine in Aldiko, but when I try to download what I presume to be a book in .pdf format, such as Defending the undefedable, all I get is a black white screen with a black bar at the top that says mises.org and it just sits there.
