Historians mostly believe that all the good deeds that are remembered until now concerning Henry IV come from his late propagandist rehabilitation after the revolution, as a try to balance the absolute and dreaded monarchy of Louis XIV, with that idealized ancient King since he was supposedly closer to his people.
Laffemas Barthelemy DE is great, great talent but beyond that, the most important or effort, thank you for giving us to share his deeds, now I thoroughly understand him.
