Hello; can you please code your mobile pages for smartphones? For instance, I have an HTC HD2 with a resolution of 480x800. I use Opera Mini and Opera Turbo; they are by far the most popular mobile browsers. Opera Mini is available for the iPhone as well.

It would be awesome if you could eliminate horizontal scrolling on your mobile layouts, and get rid of duplicate text (for example, redundant quotes in larger text, which do look nice on desktop versions of your pages, btw).

I found some resources for optimizing your site for mobile devices:
http://dev.opera.com/articles/mobile/
http://dev.opera.com/articles/view/the-mobile-web-optimization-guide/

The following sites are good examples of sites which work well on all the smartphones i have used in both Opera Mini and Opera Turbo:
http://pda.physorg.com/
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/

Finally, please accept my gratitude for creating and maintaining this site. I am learning a lot here.

congratulations on the improvements to the website. whilst off message, when the site is next re-jigged, can more space for comments be allowed on the homepage, perhaps at the expense of the calendar? often the most enlightening part of the site, the comments also serve as a reliable pointer to the best articles. this is especially needed now, when the volume of material is growing so rapidly. thank you.
