Nevada sports books won on the Super Bowl for the 14th time in the last 15 years with the Saint’s comeback victory over the Colts. The total amount wagered of $82.7 million was slightly higher than a year ago but considerably lower than the $94.5 million wagered at the height of the bubble in 2006.
Coincidentally the Case-Shiller home price Index also peaked in 2006 and has bounced slightly of late.
