Hoppe recorded Rothbard in Class

January 20, 2010 by

In 1986, Hans Hoppe attended Rothbard’s class on economic history. He recorded all the lectures, at New York Poly.

Those are just appearing online – actually just appearing for the first time ever. We are uploading them now

it is really fun to hear MNR in a regular classroom environment. You can hear the chalk on the chalkboard.

That’s awesome! Any copyright issues we should be aware of (does MNR approve of his work being on the internet for free?)? And are we allowed to distribute copies ourselves?

MNR lived to get the word out. Please do!

Absolutely awsome!

People, if you haven’t ever thought about donating to Mises.org, please do so. Just the example of having Murray’s lectures available free to the public is proof of what a contribution this organization makes to the pursuit of Liberty.

Lew Rockwell and those with Mises.org = Red Pill
Just about everyone else = Blue Pill

I noticed some of these yesterday and thought, “Man, what a great find.” Thanks

Incredible! Are these going to be available on iTunes U as well?

The sound quality is excellent, thanks HHH and LvMI!

It’s official – the rest of my week is shot!

As if his written word is not lively enough! It will be a resource of immense influence and importance to the growing number of readers of his works. The complementary nature of the recordings and his books will no doubt cement his legacy.

Jeffrey!

How did Hoppe record these? I am absolutely impressed with the quality. Great Job!

The more of Rothbard, much better it is.

Even though Mises Inst does a lot of promoting ideas after Rothbard no intellectual leader emerged that improves the ideas.

I know geniuses like Mises and Rothbard are hard to come by but a person can wish cant he.
