He has an unusual fetish for “short-run” effects; does he think that there is a government remedy that will end a recession over the “short-run”? What exactly is the short-run? Obviously, it is shorter than the time necessary for the benefits of trade to be seen. If this is the case, and he has a “short-run” solution, perhaps it’s time that Obama brought him on course. Irregardless, what are these basic macroeconomic classes that teach people impeccable economic calculation, as I would like to take them.

I guess by “short-run” he means a time lag between causes and effects.
If I use my Beretta against you the “short-run” is time when the bullet is still in the air and doesn’t reach your brains yet. In this sense my action ( shooting you) is not bad for you “in short run” he-he.
Or as Keynes himself put it “in long run we are all dead.”
Enjoy Keynesian logics and don’t care about that stupid Austrian “tomorrow”! As long as the bullet follows his ballistic path we and our children are happy… in “short run.”
