It’s not often you see an argument for economic intervention on mises.org!
This is precisely what has been done in the BrIC countries and has worked marvelously so far.
I’m not going to support a scheme just because it says Hayek up the top. Reading this, I got the same eerie feeling I got when I read one of Milton Friedman’s books: The knowledge that an intelligent man wrote this, but somehow let particular statist arguments get to him.
Same style too. A little bit of economic theory then extensive specifics on some particular scheme.
