After listening to Stephan Kinsella’s talk about IP at the most recent Mises University, I’ve decided that unlike most other immediately obvious examples of state aggression such as taxation, conscription or the war on substances, intellectual property seems to remain somewhat low key because of how it’s dealt with in the legal system.
Away from most mainstream media except for trade journals and the occasional news story (that never makes it to the front pages,), IP is handled quietly between lawyers and executives; and between judges, juries, regulators and legislators.
